Overview
PayPress Payment Forms support common field types for collecting customer details before checkout.
Requirements
- Payment Form enabled on a plan.
Steps
- Open the Payment Form builder.
- Add a field.
- Choose the field type.
- Configure settings relevant to that field type.
- Save and test.
Expected Result
Supported fields render on the front end and validate before checkout.
Important Notes
Supported field types are text, textarea, email, phone, select, radio, and checkbox. File uploads, date fields, date/time fields, address fields, calculations, and conditional logic are not implemented yet.
Troubleshooting
If a field type you need is missing, check the roadmap. Do not use a text field for sensitive information such as card details; Stripe Checkout handles payment data.
