Overview
Subscription payments usually produce Stripe invoice records. PayPress displays hosted invoice and invoice PDF links when Stripe provides them.
Requirements
- Subscription payment or renewal invoice.
- Webhooks configured.
- Access to Orders or Subscriptions in PayPress.
Steps
- Complete a subscription checkout or renewal.
- Open the related order in PayPress.
- Review invoice links in Orders, Order Details, or Subscriptions.
- Use the hosted invoice or invoice PDF action when available.
Expected Result
Subscription orders display invoice information when Stripe sends it. Latest invoice information may also appear in the Subscriptions table.
Important Notes
Stripe may expose subscription billing documents through the Hosted Invoice Page and invoice PDF. A separate receipt URL may not always exist for subscription invoice payments.
Troubleshooting
If the invoice is missing, wait for invoice webhook enrichment. If the subscription exists but invoice links are absent, check whether Stripe created an invoice and whether invoice events reached PayPress.
