Custom Donation Amounts

Overview

Custom donation amounts let visitors enter their own donation amount instead of choosing only from preset options.

Requirements

• Donation plan.
• Allow Custom Amount enabled.
• Minimum and optional maximum limits configured if needed.

Steps

1. Open the Donation plan.
2. Enable Allow Custom Amount.
3. Set a minimum donation amount.
4. Optionally set a maximum donation amount.
5. Save the plan.
6. Test the donation page with a custom amount.

Expected Result

Visitors see an Other Amount or custom amount field and can enter a valid donation amount before checkout.

Important Notes

Custom amounts are optional. PayPress validates custom amounts server-side so cached pages or edited front-end values cannot bypass your plan rules.

Troubleshooting

If the custom amount field is missing, confirm Allow Custom Amount is enabled. If the amount is rejected, review minimum and maximum settings.
