Overview
Suggested donation amounts give visitors quick preset choices, such as $10, $25, $50, and $100. They reduce friction and help guide donor decisions.
Requirements
- Donation plan.
- Suggested amounts configured in the plan editor.
Steps
- Open the Donation plan.
- Find the donation amount settings.
- Enter up to four suggested amounts.
- Save the plan.
- View the donation page.
- Confirm the suggested amounts appear correctly.
Expected Result
Visitors see the suggested donation amounts and can choose one before continuing to Stripe Checkout.
Important Notes
Suggested amounts are not hardcoded by PayPress. Each merchant chooses the values. Amounts are validated again on the server before checkout starts.
Troubleshooting
If the wrong amounts appear for logged-out visitors, clear page cache and confirm REST hydration is not blocked. If an amount is rejected, check minimum and maximum donation settings.
