Overview
A fundraising campaign is a Donation plan with fundraising settings enabled. It shows donors your goal, progress, and donation options.
Requirements
- PayPress connected to Stripe.
- Donation plan.
- Fundraising goal amount.
- Campaign page.
Steps
- Open or create a Donation plan.
- Enable Fundraising Goal.
- Enter the goal amount.
- Optionally set an end date.
- Choose whether donations close after the end date.
- Choose which progress details to display.
- Enter a completion message if desired.
- Save the plan.
- Add the shortcode to your campaign page.
- Test a donation.
Expected Result
The campaign page shows the fundraising summary, progress display, and donation controls. Donations create normal PayPress orders and update campaign metrics.
Important Notes
PayPress does not automatically close donations when the goal is reached. End date behavior is controlled separately.
Troubleshooting
If fundraising settings are not visible, confirm the plan type is Donation. If the campaign appears closed, review end date and close-after-end-date settings.
