Fundraising Goals

Overview

The fundraising goal is the target amount shown to donors, such as $5,000 for a community project or $25,000 for a campaign.

Requirements

• Fundraising enabled.
• Goal amount entered.
• Currency selected on the Donation plan.

Steps

1. Open the Donation plan.
2. Enable Fundraising Goal.
3. Enter the goal amount.
4. Save the plan.
5. View the campaign page.
6. Confirm the raised-of-goal display is correct.

Expected Result

The campaign displays amount raised compared with the goal. If the campaign exceeds the goal, PayPress can show the actual amount raised while visually clamping the progress bar at 100%.

Important Notes

Goal progress is calculated from local PayPress donation orders for that plan. Refunded donation amounts reduce net raised.

Troubleshooting

If progress looks incorrect, confirm donations are paid, belong to the same plan, and have not been refunded. Check currency before changing an active fundraising campaign.
