Overview
When shipping address collection is enabled for a plan, PayPress stores and displays the shipping details collected by Stripe Checkout.
Requirements
- Shipping address collection enabled on the plan.
- Customer completed Stripe Checkout.
- Webhook processed the checkout session.
- Order Details access.
Steps
- Enable Collect Shipping Address on a plan.
- Complete checkout as a customer.
- Open the order in PayPress.
- Review the Shipping Address section.
Expected Result
The Shipping Address section shows the customer name and address when Stripe provided shipping details.
Important Notes
PayPress stores shipping details as JSON on the order. This is address collection only. PayPress does not calculate shipping rates, create shipping labels, integrate with carriers, or manage shipping zones.
Troubleshooting
If no shipping address appears, confirm the plan had shipping collection enabled before checkout. If Stripe shows an address but PayPress does not, check webhook logs and confirm the order was created from the correct checkout session.
