When to Use This Setup

Use this setup when campaign progress is part of the message, such as raising $10,000 for equipment, relief, repairs, or a community project.

Requirements

  • Donation plan.
  • Fundraising enabled.
  • Goal amount.
  • Display options selected.

Configuration Steps

  1. Create a Donation plan.
  2. Enable Fundraising Goal.
  3. Enter the goal amount.
  4. Enable amount raised, donation count, percentage, or progress bar.
  5. Add suggested/custom donation settings.
  6. Publish the campaign page.
  7. Test a donation and metric update.

Recommended Settings

  • Show Amount Raised: enabled.
  • Show Progress Bar: enabled.
  • Show Donation Count: optional.
  • Completion Message: optional.
  • Close Donations After End Date: only if needed.

Testing Checklist

  • Test logged-out visitor view.
  • Confirm campaign metrics hydrate.
  • Complete a donation.
  • Confirm net raised updates.
  • Test refund impact if needed.

Expected Result

Visitors see the campaign goal and current progress, then donate through Stripe Checkout.
