When to Use This Setup
Use this setup when the consultation is low-cost, credited later, or used as a booking commitment. PayPress does not currently create calendar bookings, so scheduling should happen separately.
Requirements
- One-Time Payment plan.
- Booking or contact page.
- Scheduling process outside PayPress.
Configuration Steps
- Create a One-Time Payment plan for the booking fee.
- Set the fee amount.
- Add Customer Notes or a Payment Form for basic request details.
- Place the shortcode on your consultation page.
- Explain how scheduling works after payment.
- Test checkout and order details.
Recommended Settings
- Payment Type: One-Time Payment.
- Payment Form: recommended for topic, website, or phone number.
- Customer Notes: optional.
- Refund Button: optional based on booking policy.
Testing Checklist
- Test checkout.
- Confirm form responses.
- Confirm receipt.
- Confirm your scheduling follow-up process.
