When to Use This Setup
Use this setup when you sell a fixed-price downloadable file and can deliver the file outside PayPress after payment.
Requirements
- One-Time Payment plan.
- A sales page.
- A PDF/eBook delivery method.
- Stripe test checkout configured.
Configuration Steps
- Create a One-Time Payment plan for the eBook.
- Add the eBook title and price.
- Add a plan image, such as the book cover.
- Add the PayPress shortcode to your sales page.
- Add a clear note explaining how buyers receive the file.
- Run a test payment.
- Verify the order and receipt in WordPress.
Recommended Settings
- Payment Type: One-Time Payment.
- Plan Image: enabled if you have a cover image.
- Payment Form: optional for name/company details.
- Customer Notes: usually disabled.
- Shipping Collection: disabled.
Testing Checklist
- Confirm checkout opens.
- Confirm order status is Paid.
- Confirm receipt link appears after webhook processing.
- Confirm your manual or external file delivery process triggers correctly.
Expected Result
Buyers pay through Stripe Checkout and you receive a PayPress order record for the eBook purchase.
