Overview
Use shipping address collection when a plan requires a customer shipping address during Stripe Checkout.
When to Use This Setup
Use this setup for physical products, mailed materials, welcome kits, printed books, merchandise, or items that require delivery.
Requirements
- PayPress plan.
- Collect Shipping Address enabled.
- Shipping process outside PayPress.
Configuration Steps
- Open the plan.
- Enable Collect Shipping Address.
- Save the plan.
- Complete a test checkout.
- Open Order Details.
- Confirm the Shipping Address section appears.
Recommended Settings
- Shipping Collection: enabled only when needed.
- Payment Type: one-time, subscription, or donation as appropriate.
- Customer Notes: optional for delivery notes.
- Payment Form: optional for additional non-address details.
Testing Checklist
- Complete checkout with shipping address.
- Confirm address appears on Order Details.
- Confirm order status and amount.
- Confirm receipt/invoice links.
- Confirm your fulfillment process can use the displayed address.
Expected Result
Stripe collects the shipping address, and PayPress displays the stored address on Order Details.
